Workers at the Deseret Chemical Depot in Utah found Tuesday that a small amount of mustard agent had escaped from one bulk container, the Deseret Morning News reported (see GSN, April 7).
No vapor escaped from the storage igloo in which the container was held, a press release states.
Depot personnel installed an airtight containment system on the tank and intend to change out the container's valves and a plug (Amy Joi O'Donoghue, Deseret Morning News, April 15).
